Trash the dress, Turks & Caicos photography

trash_dress_turksThe Turks & Caicos islands: can you think of a better location to trash the dress, or better, simply wet it and treasure it forever? 3 days after their beautiful wedding (click on Wedding at The Sands on Grace Bay  if you haven’t done it yet), Kristen, Mark and I took a little island tour to capture a collection of original wedding pictures. Fashion inspired, sun-kissed, romantic, fun and very wet images, with the best Turks and Caicos backgrounds.

The trash the dress trend started a few years ago: I loved the idea from the very begin and I love it even more after each session. The newlyweds can enjoy some time together, relax, cuddle, pose like professional models, laugh and have a great time.

With an unexpected end, Kristen and Mark trash the dress photo shoot will be very hard to forget – such a great story to tell!

7:30am – Long Bay beach. When most people are still in bed, the sun rise, the beach is deserted and the sand feels like warm snowtrash_the_dress_turks_caicos_0050

Beautiful Kristen, looking like the beach princess

Long Bay beach is beloved by every kiteboarder in the world, but it’s much more then a kiting spot. Don’t forget to check it out!

Blue Hills: I love the new dock, from every point of view

It’s starting to feel a lot like Christmas…

I deliberately place the conch shell in this position, inspired by a Christmas tree 🙂

Leeward beach: it’s time to get wet and trash the dress

The first wave took them down…

…they didn’t give up…

…but suddenly – wow! Out of nowhere this big wave arrived unexpected. We were getting ready for the next pose, my camera was pointed at them, and the wet magic happened. A lucky, unforgettable shot and a happy, original end.

As Kristen described, it has been a great “fun morning adventure”
