This it the story of Kaci and John, a beautiful Wedding at Pearls Villa, Long Bay, Turks and Caicos. A day full of love, affection, beauty, fun and breathtaking moments.

“We’re all a little weird. And life is a little weird. And when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall into mutually satisfying weirdness–and call it love–true love.”
– Robert Fulghum, True Love

Yes, I'm "just" a wedding photographer. But whenever I get asked to capture the wedding day of a special couple, I feel involved in the experience as much as the bride or groom's best friend. I worry about the weather, I want everything to be perfect, I share tips and secret about the island, I care, stress, love, and bend backwards to make sure the dreamed wedding day becomes a beautiful reality.

This is particularly true for someone that touches my heart, like Lauren and Eric and their amazing Wedding at Casa Varnishkes, Long Bay, Turks and Caicos.

What's better than a destination beach wedding? A Turks and Caicos Wedding with a traditional, culture infused twist.

Pang wrote "I'm Hmong, I want to capture some pictures on my traditional garb and highlight my culture in our wedding pictures. My fiance, Irish /French Canadian, is open to this idea as well. We would want someone special who can appreciate this aspect and I believe you are the right photographer to help capture us".

I was intrigued and hooked.

Can you plan your wedding in a week, leave your guests speechless, make your heart skip a beat and have the time of your life? Of course you can! This amazing couple transformed their winter getaway into an fabulous wedding at Villa Triton Turks & Caicos. Their original destination wedding date was set for November, in a beautiful private island in the Florida Keys. The celebration was going to be breathtaking but the passage of hurricane Irma in September destroyed the island, as well as the couple's plan. From an island to the other, the trip to Providenciales offered to perfect occasion to transform a beautiful vacation into a spectacular wedding.

Dúinn (Irish - to/for us) now has a new translation: Margo and Mitch stunning Wedding at Villa Triton, Long Bay Turks & Caicos. Were the amazing details, the Buddhist Monk, the breathtaking songs, the fabulous location, the splendid decor, the crazy wind or the unconditional love of the bride and groom that made the event unforgettable?!? I don't know what to praise first, but I know for sure that I loved every minute of it. Good to know: Wedding Planner - the super-caring-loving-amazing Mary, Nila Destinations; Flowers and Decor: Flowers by EA - wow!; the talented Makeup Artist: Shenique, by Sheque Perfection; the delicious food: Kissing Fish Catering; the dance-till-you-drop music: DJ Dahyo.

I have been fortunate to photograph a few same-sex weddings over the years. Although gay weddings are not legally recognized in the Turks and Caicos yet, several same-sex couples have come to the islands and simply married one another in their own terms, celebrating in their own way. Anytime real love manifests itself in two people, I'm honored to be the one chosen to show the world what that looks like. Jeff and Don celebrated their 20-year anniversary of commitment to each other by getting married in long Bay, Turks and Caicos, on Valentine's Day. Their best friend gladly accepted to be the officiant and her fiancé their witness. What a wonderful day!

wedding_villa_mandalayFabulous: it's the best world to describe Sheena and Chad's wedding at Villa Mandalay Turks and Caicos. An exclusive location, where fantasy is reality, a stunning couple, a fun bridal party, delightful guests and a fairytale lovestory. When I think I've seen it all, a wedding like this come along and I'm completely enchanted. I first met Sheena, Kay (her mom) and Mandi (her sister) during their island site inspection, and it was "love at first sight": I liked every idea, detail and choice they made, but more important, I liked their genuine, sweet and beautiful personalities. In a matter of minute they welcomed me to the family, as I've been part of it forever. Then came Chad, his family, the surprises of the special day, and the wedding became my favorite event ever.
