It was meant to be a family Irish Wedding, it turned out be a romantic Wedding at Point Grace, Turks and Caicos. This is a love story of Maria and Tim, a sweet couple that saw their dream turned upside down by the pandemic. A different plan, but certainly a great call, as "The entire experience in Turks and Caicos Islands has surpassed our expectations". A few months ago, I started to ask my brides to write a few words to make my blog posts more personal... I love this new tradition, so "let's pass the microphone" to Maria: "We were going to Turks and Caicos on our honeymoon from the very beginning after spending a week in Ireland. We decided to just elope on our honeymoon in Turks and Caicos. We were able to keep our same wedding  date, October 10, 2020. It was honestly one of the best decisions I’ve ever made in my life. All the stress and heartbreak of Ireland turned Providenciales in the British West Indies a dream come true for us. Our Wedding at Point Grace was absolutely gorgeous from sunrise to sunset. It was perfect in every way.

wedding_point_grace_turksStacey and Jorge used to work together at a department store while completing their studies. She didn't want to go to prom, but somehow she accepted Jorge's invitation... and the rest is history. The couple beautiful wedding took place at Point Grace, Turks and Caicos: inspired by classic, turn-of-the-century British Colonial architecture, the beach front setting looks out upon a shimmering vista of turquoise sea and alabaster beach. 7 close relatives joined the bride and groom's beginning of a lifetime adventure, a journey full of emotions, love, dreams and marvels. A special thanks to: Lynne Watts, at Nila Destinations, the energetic and amazing wedding coordinator; Shenique, at Sheque Perfection, the fabulous hair dresser and make-up artist; Coco, Coco Bistro's cat: without him the wedding could not have been complete - isn't it Stacey?

Sally and I have been friends for years, sweating our shirts off at the gym and drinking coffee with the ladies after class. I often heard stories about her amazing, beautiful, funny, genuine, caring, daughter Muffy. It has been a privilege and an honour to cover her wedding and realize that it was't just mom's love, but that Muffy  is the truly the fantastic girl Sally described. Cherry on the cake, is the man that complete her: Bryan - at glance you can see a perfect connection... it take a lot of love, respect and commitment to work together on a yacht all year around.

The countdown is almost over: in 43 days Delcean and Vaughn will get married. A local wedding is rarely small or simple and the preparation takes lot of time and energy - an engagement session is part of the process, but luckily it's fun, romantic and just for the couple. Delcean asked for a collection of pictures with a retro feel and I found my inspiration at Point Grace: the elegant Roll Royce is probably the only vintage element of the island...
