A change of plans is the theme of most weddings this year. When the big event in Belize had to be revised, Christian and Steve had to find a new location.... "where shall we get married"? Destination TCI it is! Yes, because the Turks and Caicos are easily accessible from the States (even if you come all the way from California), the summer temperature is guaranteed all year around, and the beaches are among the best in the world.

The day passed by in a blink of an eye, but I'm sure they will never forget about it.

It was meant to be a family Irish Wedding, it turned out be a romantic Wedding at Point Grace, Turks and Caicos. This is a love story of Maria and Tim, a sweet couple that saw their dream turned upside down by the pandemic. A different plan, but certainly a great call, as "The entire experience in Turks and Caicos Islands has surpassed our expectations". A few months ago, I started to ask my brides to write a few words to make my blog posts more personal... I love this new tradition, so "let's pass the microphone" to Maria: "We were going to Turks and Caicos on our honeymoon from the very beginning after spending a week in Ireland. We decided to just elope on our honeymoon in Turks and Caicos. We were able to keep our same wedding  date, October 10, 2020. It was honestly one of the best decisions I’ve ever made in my life. All the stress and heartbreak of Ireland turned Providenciales in the British West Indies a dream come true for us. Our Wedding at Point Grace was absolutely gorgeous from sunrise to sunset. It was perfect in every way.

The 2020 brought us a completely new reality, an unrecognisable world that hides our smiles behind masks. It's in the people's eyes that we find beautiful souls and feelings: just focus on the bright side, happiness and love are everywhere. The latest "cherry on the cake", or better, the "succulent chocolate delight", is a fantastic Amanyara Wedding that united Kristen and Brian forever.  I love stories, especially when told by the person that experienced them. So let's hear it form Kristen: "We were originally planning a small intimate wedding in Costa Rica with our family and closest friends. Then Covid hit and we realized at the rate of how things were progressing we wouldn’t be able to get married for years! So we decided to just elope now!

We did a quick search as to what countries would accept Americans and who also had low Covid cases. It was also a requirement to go to a place neither of us have ever been! Turks and Caicos was the winner!!

We started researching special places on the islands. We figured since it was only the two of us we would splurge!! And... that we did!!! Wowsers! Amanyara is a dream!!

What an amazing Turks and Caicos Wedding! This is the love story of Brandy and Christian: like in a fairytale, the "bad guy" entered their lives, but they stuck together and surpassed every difficulties with their love. Family and friends traveled to the islands to join the celebration and bless the couple with joy, beauty, laughters, dances, cheers and so much fun.  We know the best is yet to come, but right now a first dream got ticked on the bucket list: they got married in one of the best beaches in the world, Grace Bay.

3 words come to my mind when describing this beautiful Wedding at Club Med Turkoise: Intimate: Tanya and Jeff chose to elope to the Turks and Caicos Islands for a simple event focused on their love. No fuss, no stress, no obligations; just joy, romance, laughs and Grace Bay Beach. Fun: just like the couple! Scroll through the photos, there is no doubt it was a fun day :-) Romantic: the amazing sunset, their special connection, the care and attention towards each other, the empty beach. They eloped to the Turks and Caicos, what's more romantic than that?!?

Stop, Shop, Fall in Love... and celebrate your Wedding at Grace Bay Club, Turks and Caicos. This is the love story of Emily and Tommy: they met at Stop and Shop 7 years ago, and exchanged their wedding vows on the pristine Grace Bay just a few days ago. To describe the emotions of this unforgettable day, I want to use Emily's love letter to Tommy - yes, I have a copy of it as I photographed it ;-) "Dear Tommy, where has the time gone? It feels like yesterday I was introducing you to my friends and family and today we have them sitting on a beach over a thousand miles from home about to witness us getting married. I'm still in shock. Shock and awe that we found each other and that we will have each other for the rest of our lives... I am your partner for life! You mean the world to me and I thank God every day you come home from work safely... I'm ready for our next adventure together. See you at the end of the aisle my dear".

Marrying the same person twice isn’t just for celebrity couples such as Liz Taylor and Richard Burton. This is the story of Kim and Tim and their second chance at first love: a beautiful Wedding in Chalk Sound, Turks and Caicos. The couple were together for 12 years, divorced for 2, and then got remarried just a few days ago. "Everyone is just really happy and grateful for the time together. It's just family so we are keeping everything light, easy-going and intimate." said Kim.
