You want a destination wedding, elegant and fun, with a contemporary feel and a touch of classic romantic atmosphere; on the beach, preferably the best one in the world. That's a wedding at Wymara Turks + Caicos.

The picturesque location on the renowned Grace Bay Beach sets the stage for a day to cherish forever. Exactly what Lisa and Dean were looking for.

Surrounded by their closest friends and family, the couple pronounced their vows next to the ocean, where their hearts belong.

Surrounded by the closest family and friends, Diana and Beau celebrated an amazing Beach Enclave Wedding.  The luxurious villas's catch line reads "Embrace Island Living, Where Life Unfolds Exactly as You Wish" - the couple can certainly now add "And your Wedding Dream becomes a Reality". I loved everything about the wedding: the easy going bride and her stunning gown, the charming groom and his fabulous smile, the secluded location, the adorable flower girls, the fun guests, the decoration and every single detail.

Destination weddings are beautiful but often the traditional elements are sacrificed and left at home. Not this time. Lauren and Sal’s Wedding at Beach House Turks & Caicos brought a touch of Persia to the Islands, filling the day with joy, colors, smiles and ceremonial traditions  that have been practiced for thousand of years. One of my favorite is the Kalleh Ghand (sugar cones): during the ceremony happily married woman rub the cones together over the “ghand cloth” while held over the couple’s head to shower their life and marriage with sweetness.

Dúinn (Irish - to/for us) now has a new translation: Margo and Mitch stunning Wedding at Villa Triton, Long Bay Turks & Caicos. Were the amazing details, the Buddhist Monk, the breathtaking songs, the fabulous location, the splendid decor, the crazy wind or the unconditional love of the bride and groom that made the event unforgettable?!? I don't know what to praise first, but I know for sure that I loved every minute of it. Good to know: Wedding Planner - the super-caring-loving-amazing Mary, Nila Destinations; Flowers and Decor: Flowers by EA - wow!; the talented Makeup Artist: Shenique, by Sheque Perfection; the delicious food: Kissing Fish Catering; the dance-till-you-drop music: DJ Dahyo.

Should the title of this blog post read "A fairytale wedding at Seven Stars" or "Princess Elsa got married"? I chose the classical version but deep in my heart I certainly prefer the more creative one. The dress, the hair, the eyes, the beauty of Casey can't me stop thinking about the fairytale Princess. And Matt can certainly be a sweet prince charming! Matt and Casey met in school, a little too young for a serious relationship. But that first love never disappear and once they reconnected, they spent together 6 years in view of this special day.

How can I describe the magic of this intimate Wedding at Villa la Koubba in just a few sentences?!? To give the right credit to the beautiful couple and the fantastic details, I need a book! Let's start from the location: the Turks and Caicos are a very special place for Nicole and Dave. He proposed on island and the wedding could not take place anywhere else. The family: only the immediate family attended the wedding and it was just perfect. The love that moms and dads have for their kids is present in every gesture. The photography: Nicole hasn't her pictures professionally taken since her yearbook. Her only request: "make us look fabulous ;-)". Dave is a talented designer whom luckily was impressed with the images on my website. Pressure on?!? Just a  little! The cloudy sky and tiny rain drops didn't offer us the contrasts and colors we hoped for, but one thing is certain: Nicole and Dave looked fabulous!

The Turks & Caicos are popular islands for destination weddings: the eternal sunshine and turquoise water, attract couples from all over the world. This time however, I'm happy to feature a Turks & Caicos local wedding. Tekarrah and Albright exchanged their wedding vows in front of 200 guests: a beautiful ceremony celebrated in the Community Fellowship Centre Church across, better known on island as the church across 7/11. Such a big party, needs a big space: the reception took place in the master ballroom of Beaches Resort.

wedding_alexandra_turks_caicosJust a few days ago, Jessica and Philip celebrated their  beautiful wedding at the Alexandra Turks & Caicos. Their plan to elope changed when 6 great friends chose to fly to the island to enjoy a sunny vacation and witness the couple's special day. A lace dress with a vintage touch for the bride, a fine and dandy look for the groom, the one and only Grace Bay beach, conch shells, bougainvilleas and the magical appearance of a mermaid - what a wedding!

destination_wedding_turksA Turks & Caicos Destination Wedding often has a long list of vendors to organize, assist, guarantee and provide all the services that a bride and groom may need on their special day. Quyen and Andrew chose a DIY wedding, offering themselves and their guests a fantastic day, full of love, joy, dances and laughters. Every detail was planned to perfection, and everyone contributed to the success of the day: I never saw a party of 78 people get in position for the group shot as fast! Grace Bay beach, right in front of the Sibonne Hotel, offered a long stretch of powdery sand to host the ceremony and the reception. Kissing Fish catered the delicious beach Barbeque, and DJ Dayoh created the right vibe to keep every person dancing all night long.

wedding_tuscany_turks_caicosFabulous: the perfect word to define Lindsey and Jonathan's wedding at The Tuscany Turks & Caicos. Red, orange, grey, orchids, roses, diamonds and Converse, a mix of elegance and fun to celebrate the couple' special day. "We do not know what the future holds for us. But we realize that our union will provide a helpmate throughout whatever life might bring. With faith, love and hope - we will walk together and let His will be done, while enjoying the fulfillment of a relationship rooted in faith, friendship, and fun!" - L&J. The facts: wedding venue: The Tuscany on Grace Bay; wedding coordinator: Luise, Nila Destinations; Flowers & Decor: Ernst at Flowers by EA; makeup artist: Shenique at Sheque Perfection; catering: Kissing Fish.
